We are seeking a dependable and motivated Inventory Control Support Team Member to join our operations team. This role is essential to maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring timely and safe handling of materials. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing inventory.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records using inventory management software.
- Support shipping and receiving processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Take the initiative to identify and resolve inventory issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Lift and move items up to 50 lbs consistently and safely.
- Drive company vehicles as needed (must have valid license and clean driving record).
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support departmental and company objectives, at the discretion of the manager.
- Reliability and Dependability: Consistently punctual and responsible.
- Valid Driver’s License: With a clean driving record.
- Physical Capability: Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Forklift Driving: Either experienced or willing to be trained
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with others.
- Initiative: Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency; training available.
- Local Candidate Preferred: Familiarity with the area is a plus.
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
- Use of safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols required.
- Overtime will be required on occasion.
